Holger Henneicke

Holger Henneicke obtained his medical degree from Humboldt University Berlin in 2011, followed by a PhD in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2016. Initially his research focused on the molecular actions of steroid hormones in the skeleton and a close analysis of the metabolic contribution of the skeleton to overall energetic homeostasis. His more recent research includes an examination of the local effects of steroid hormones throughout the body and how to leverage these for therapeutic benefit. Since 2016 he is working towards his medical specialization in Endocrinology at the University Hospital Medical Center of TU Dresden (Germany) and runs his laboratory at the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD).
